How To Make Spicy Potato Salad

Spicy potato salad the name only indicates that it was spicy ya that's right but not much spicy.Spicy potato salad can serve with any food but it was much better to eat at starters time we can found potato salad in road truck where people use to go and have it.It make's you eat.Spicy potato salad is one of the most common dish in Nepal and people of Nepal they use to eat with pickles at list once in a life.It is one of the cheapest dish because it does't use much ingredients to prepare..After Nepal it became famous in India and people use to love this as well i to like this but i not use much spices but if you want more spice then you can add more chili powder which depends on you.

How to make spicy potato salad

   Serves:4 ! Prep Time:10 ! Cooking Time:15 min ! Level:Easy 



Ingredients:

  • 20 nos baby potatoes
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder 
  • 3 tbsp spring onion green chopped
  • 1 no celery stick chopped
  • 2 tsp lime juice 
  • 100 gms mayonnaise 
  • Slat to taste

Method:

  • First clean and wash all the potatoes.Try to use small potatoes as much as possible because small potatoes is good for salad,And dry it for few seconds.

  • After all potatoes get dried fully,Use a toothpick to prick all over them but one thing dont prick much.

  • After prick keep potatoes in microwave on a high power for at list 12 minutes in a covered dish.After 4 minutes stir once so that potato will not get burn.

  • Then remove it from microwave.

  • Set aside until the potatoes get enough handle,then peel and cut into small cubes.

  • Mix the potatoes with turmeric,chilli powder and salt.

  • Then microwave it for another 3 minutes on high power or until potatoes turns into golden brown.

  • When it change it's color remove it from microwave and sprinkle lime juice and salt.

  • Take a small bowl and pour all the potato and mix with mayonnaise,celery and spring onion green.

  • Serve chilled,garnished with chopped spring onion greens.
