Spicy Potato 65
Ingredients:
- 5 Medium size potatoes
- 5-6 chopped garlic
- 1/2 tbsp ginger and garlic paste
- 3 silted green chilies
- 2-3 Red chili
- 1 tbsp turmeric powder
- 3/4 tbsp red chili powder
- 8-10 Fresh curry leaves
- 1/2 Cup fresh curd
- 1 Lemon juice
- 3 tbsp chopped cilantro
- 1 tbsp red color
- 1/2 tsp ajinamoto(optional)
- Salt as required
- Oil enough deep fry
For Batter
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tbsp ginger
- 2-3 Cloves chopped garlic
- 4 tbsp cornflour
- 3-4 tbsp fresh curd
- 2 tbsp refined flour
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Parboil the potatoes and peel the outer skin and cut them into cubes...
- Add turmeric powder,red chili powder,cornflour,refined flour,half of cup of curd,lime juice and salt to the potato pieces and mix them well...
- Heat oil in a pan...
- Then place the potatoes pieces one by one carefully so it does not stick to each other...
- Fry them until they became golden nice crunchy and crispy...
- Now its time to make gravy...
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in another pan.Add chopped garlic and fry a bit...
- Put curry leaves,green chili and red chilies.Saute it for few seconds.Now beat a yogurt with little salt and add it to the pan.At the same movement you can also drop a little red color...
- When gravy became thick add all fried potatoes,lime juice and ajinamoto in to it...
- Finally garnish with chopped cilantro...
- So tan ta tan..So here Spicy Potato 65 is ready to serve....
