Jackfruit ice cream
- 1 cup jack fruit-Deseeded,chopped
- 1/2 cup cream
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp corn flour
- 1/2 tsp ice cream essence
- 1 tbsp CMS
- 1 tbsp GMS
- 21/2 cup milk
- For Jackfruit Ice Cream heat a non-stick pan put the milk to decrease all the fatness.Boil it for 2 to 3 minutes.
- While milk is getting boil chopped all the Jackfruits.
- So after milk get boil pour the cream mix it well,Again leave it for a boil"Cream means we already know its a icecream".Add sugar.So when milk get starting boiling be careful that it should not stuck at the bottom.Try to use non-stick pan but if you are not using non-stick then keep string the milk so like this it will not stuck.
- At the mean time in a bigger bowl add corn flour,little bit of milk and give a nice mix after that pour the cornstarch into the milk again mix it well so that it doesn"t form any lumps.You can see that how milk became nice and thick.
- After putting cornstarch let this cook for a while or else it taste quite little powdery.
- When above methods complete you can add ice cream essence.
- While milk is cooking let mix the both the stabilizers.
- So in a bowl add CMS,GMS and water the possibility of this forming lumps is quit high so what we will do it strain it latter.
- Switch off the heat,Add mixture into the milk,Just keep on staring.
- Now we will add all the jackfruit into the milk.In south east Asia there is another fruit called Durian which also look,taste like jackfruit. So in case if you don't find jackfruit..If you can find durian then you make Ice cream by durian also.
- Let the milk stay like this in this pan itself till it cools then put in a container,goes into deep freezer.It will set in the freezer for at list 6 to 8 hr's minimum anything beyond it also fine.So only serve the icecream after it sets and enjoy fresh Jackfruit Ice cream.
