Chicken Curry
- 800 Grams chicken(cut into pieces on bone)
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1/2 inch cinnamon
- 2-3 Green cardamoms
- 3-4 Cloves
- 2 Medium Onion(grated)
- 1 tbsp ginger(paste)
- 1 tbsp garlic(paste)
- 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp red chilli powder
- 1 tbsp cumin powder
- 2 tbsp coriander powder
- 2 Cups tomato puree
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp+1 tbsp chopped fresh coriander leaves
- 1 1/2 tbsp gram masala powder
Method:
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan then add cinnamon,cardamoms,cloves and saute till fragrant...
- After adding all spices,add onion,so before adding onion try to squeezed all the excess of onion water because if you squeezed all water browning happens fast and saute till well-browned (if you want to make it very less oil then you have to keep sauteing continues till the onion start get browning)
- Add ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder,red chilli powder(Its depends on you how much you want spices),cumin powder,coriander powder.After adding all species there is it may chances to burn so you may add very little water and saute it for 1 minutes..
- Add tomato puree,stir to mix and add salt(salt should always be added soon after the tomatoes because that way tomato cook faster because once you add salt to tomato automatically it leave all the moisture and once all the moisture of the tomato is evaporated the tomatoes are done.) after adding salt mix it again and cook until the oil separates..
- Add chicken pieces,salt,1 tbsp chopped coriander ,mix well then add garam masala powder.Mix well,cover and cook on medium heat for 20 minutes..
- Garnish with 1 teaspoon chopped coriander and now Chicken curry recipe is ready to serve...
