How To Make Tandoori Chicken Recipe

Delicious Tandoori Chicken Recipe is very popular Indian item because of its' blazing hot appearance and amazing taste.The one thing about  this Tandoori Chicken Recipe is smoke flavor which is gets by the tandoori.This is very easy way to make Tandoori Chicken Recipe.

How to make tandoori chicken

Ingredients:


  • 1 large chicken(cut into 7-8 pieces)
  • 200 gm curd
  • 2 tbsp kashmiri red chili
  • 1 tbsp cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic(paste)
  • 1 tbsp kasouri methi or (dry fenugreek leaves)
  • 1 tbsp pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 tbsp mustard oil
  • Butter for basting
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp Red food color 

Method:


  • Before start cooking remove all execs fatness of the chicken...


  • Then use the sharp knife to cut slices where flesh is thicker..


  • Then in small bowl make a mixture of red chilli powder,half tbsp salt,lemon juice and mix them all together...


  • Rub the mixture over then chickens keep it aside for half an hour...


  • While chicken is reasting lets prepare the 2nd marination take a bowl then put a curd in a satner and keep it on that bowl let the execs liquid dry out in a bowl and keep it aside for 10-20  minutes...


  • Then when all the execs came in bowl transfer the curd in a large bowl,add cumin powder,remaining chilli powder,lemon juice,,coriander,ginger-garlic paste,garam masala powder,black pepper powder,kasouri methi,food color and mix them well...


  • Apply this mixture to chicken and marinate it over night in refrigerator or minimum 4 hours for best result(do not marinate for longer then 2 days)...


  • Then remove the chicken from refrigerator and apply mustard oil over the chicken because it gave nice coating and in that way marination holds the chicken well(you can also use any veg-oil but mustard oil is best for it)...


  • Place the chicken on grill rack and put the microwave proof bowl or tray and cook on oven for 10 minutes..Then After 5 minutes remove the chicken from oven and flip the pieces on half way through cooking time...


  • Dress the chicken with butter after dressing again put chicken in oven then grill for 20 minutes re-position the pieces frequently...


  • In the main lets make the green chutney which is perfect accompaniment for tandoori chicken...


  • Put cilantro leaves,1 small bunch of mint leaves,2-3 green chilli,3-4 tbsp curd,3 garlic cloves,ginger,tsp lemon juice and 1/4 tsp salt in container and blend too smooth then transfer into a serving bowl...


  • Tandoori Chicken is ready sprinkle little chat-masala powder and serve with green chutney and salads...
