How To Make Chicken Kadai Or Kadai Chicken Recipe

Chicken kadai or kadia chicken

Chicken kadai or kadia chicken which is most popular in north India restaurant.This is easy and simply.chicken kadia or kadia chicken which usually most serve in restaurant.which love one and all.

We all know kadia means wok which can be found in every Indian kitchen for most cooking.Number of dish which made in kadai like chicken kadia,mutton kadia,mushroom kadia and many more.If we try to find we can find number of recipe which can be made in kadia.

How to make chicken kadia





Ingredients:


  • 1 kg chicken
  • 1 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 1/2 tsp coriander seeds 
  • 6 Black pepper corn
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 1 large onion(Finally chopped)
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 2 large tomato(diced)
  • 4 tbsp tomato pure
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 medium capsicum(Cut into 1 inch quare pieces)
  • 2 tsp coriander leaves
  • For garnish
  • 2 slit green chillies
Method:

  • In a small dry pan roast coriander seeds,cumin seeds and black pepper corn.

  • After roast coarsely grind it.

  • Take some oil in a kadai and add some ghee which enhance its flavor of the dish then add bay leaves and the onions saute them into nice golden brown.It will take about nearly 5 to 7 minutes.

  • After onion turns into golden brown add ginger and garlic paste and stir well.

  • Saute it about a minutes then add dry roasted  masala,chilli powder,turmeric powder and garam masala at the same time add chopped tomato give a good stir.

  • You can see that tomato are cooked well at the same time add tomato puree and cook this till the oil separate from the masala.

  • When oil separate from masala then it's time to add chicken mix it nicely so that they all stir into the masala.

  • After this add water dont add to much water because we dont want thin gravy.

  • Cover it and let it cook for 10 to 15 minutes.

  • After 15 minutes open the lid and just give a nice stir at this point add some salt to it and another nice stir cover it again and cook.

  • When chicken done 50% add capsicum because this gives a nice crunch to chicken again stir and let it cook for some more time.

  • When chicken almost done add coriander give 5 more stir.

  • And serve in a plate.Garnish with some ginger and green chillies.

  • Serves this with roti,rice or naan.
